Prime Minister Pashinyan participates in narrow-format meeting of Eurasian Intergovernmental Council

In the sidelines of his working visit to Kyrgyzstan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan today participated in the narrow-format meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council.

Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers (Prime Minister) of Kyrgyzstan Ulukbek Maripov met the Armenian Prime Minister and the Prime Ministers of the other EAEU Member States at the Cholpon-Ata State Complex. Following the handshake and joint photo-taking ceremony of the Heads of Government of the EAEU states, a narrow-format session kicked off.

A number of issues related to the activities of the Union were discussed at the session. Insurance assistance measures for reciprocal trade between EAEU Member States and foreign trade, future activities for developing common approaches to the implementation of the global climate agenda and other issues were touched upon during the session.

The works of the EAEU Intergovernmental Council session will continue tomorrow, on August 20, in the sidelines of an expanded-format meeting, where Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan will deliver a speech.
