Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan together with his wife Anna Hakobyan and their daughters visited the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex, watched the final round fight of Rafael Hovhannisyan, a member of the Armenian national team in 86 kh category.

Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan, the Chief of Staff of the Prime Minister Arayik Harutyunyan, Vice President of the National Assembly Hakob Arshakyan, Cabinet members and other officials were also present at the Sports and Concert Complex.

In the final round, Rafael Hovhannisyan lost to his Georgian rival and won the silver medal of the European Championship. Prime Minister Pashinyan personally handed over awards to the prize-winning athletes of the 86 kg weight category.

Member of the Armneian national team Hovhannes Bachkov became the champion of the European Championship held in Yerevan, Rafael Hovhannisyan and Artur Bazeyan won silver medals. Narek Manasyan became a bronze medalist.

Hambardzum Matevosyan and Arayik Harutyunyan also handed awards to the prize-winning athletes.
