A consultation was held in the Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which issues related to the implementation of the state budget for the first quater of 2024 were discussed.

In particular, reference was made to the implementation of capital expenditures by state departments, tax and customs revenue indicators, rates of foreign trade turnover and future trends. It was noted that the indicator of economic activity in January-February was 16.3 percent. In this context, the participants of the consultation exchanged ideas on further opportunities and steps for economic development.

Prime Minister Pashinyan gave instructions to the officials regarding planning, budgeting and effective implementation of capital expenditures. At the same time, the Prime Minister instructed the Ministry of Economy to submit new recommendations for the further promotion of economic growth in the near future.
