Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan hosted the delegation led by the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Trần Thanh Mẫn, who is on an official visit to Armenia.

The Prime Minister welcomed Trần Thanh Mẫn’s visit to Armenia and emphasized the importance of developing friendly relations with Vietnam. Nikol Pashinyan noted that the high-level reciprocal visits between the two countries testify to the mutual interest in further deepening and expanding bilateral relations, which is a positive process.

Trần Thanh Mẫn, in turn, expressed gratitude for the warm welcome, emphasizing that the visit to Armenia aims to further strengthen and deepen Armenia-Vietnam friendship.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral multi-sectoral cooperation, emphasizing the need to develop specific measures and steps to activate economic relations.

The interlocutors also particularly emphasized the importance of continuing cooperation in interparliamentary format, which can serve as an additional impetus for the development of bilateral ties.

Nikol Pashinyan and Trần Thanh Mẫn also exchanged views on a number of issues of regional importance.
