Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the participants, coaches, and referees of the final round of the “Prime Minister’s Cup” amateur table tennis tournament in Aghveran.
The Prime Minister welcomed the participants and congratulated them on getting the opportunity to participate in the final round. Nikol Pashinyan attached importance to the holding of the “Prime Minister’s Cup” amateur tournament in various sports and emphasized that its goal is to promote healthy lifestyle and sports among society, including school-age children.
During the conversation, issues related to the development of sports, the popularization of sports, the organization and holding of competitions, and the format of the tournament were discussed. The tournament participants and coaches noted that these tournaments are of great interest among schoolchildren.
Prime Minister Pashinyan also answered the questions of those present.
The final round of the “Prime Minister’s Cup” amateur table tennis tournament will be held on April 27 at the Ara Manukyan Children’s and Youth Sports School in Charentsavan, Kotayk region. The winning teams of the regional rounds held among students of grades 5-9 and 10-12 of general education institutions of the Republic of Armenia in Yerevan and the regions will participate in the republican final round. More than 3,200 students of 574 general education institutions in Yerevan and the regions (about 810 teams) participated in the community round competitions.
