A consultation was held under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which the concept of the development of the Rescue Service was discussed.

Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan noted that the vision of the development of the Rescue Service is important within the framework of completing the chain of reforms of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and presented solutions to the problems raised in the concept. In particular, details were presented on the development of sectoral policy by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, monitoring of the policy conducted in the sector, implementation of oversight over the activities of hazardous production facilities, coordination of the sector at the republican level in emergency situations, mandatory insurance related to these sectors, definition of requirements and development of standards. Reference was also made to the new structure of the Rescue Service.

In particular, issues related to the process of mandatory insurance of hazardous production facilities, the creation of a unified operational management center, alarm service, training and retraining of rescue workers, and the logistical support of the Rescue Service were discussed.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan instructed to work in the direction of mandatory insurance of hazardous production facilities. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of carrying out simultaneous work on filling in the geoportal of hazardous production facilities and identifying potentially dangerous properties.
