Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the delegation led by Mayor of Marseille Benoît Payan.

The Prime Minister welcomed the visit of the Mayor of Marseille to Armenia and highlighted the importance of developing multilateral relations with France, including in the format of local self-government bodies. At the same time, Nikol Pashinyan highly appreciated Benoît Payan's actions and personal efforts to deepen ties with Armenia.

The Mayor of Marseille noted that he arrived in Armenia to deepen and expand cooperation with Yerevan and noted that the development of multi-sectoral relations with Armenia is of great importance to him.

It was noted that during the visit, issues related to cooperation with Yerevan in the fields of infrastructure, education, tourism, culture and the implementation of joint programs, as well as exchange of experience in various directions, were discussed.

Other issues of mutual interest were also touched upon during the meeting.
