A consultation was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which the indicators of the 2022-2025 program for state support to ensure affordable housing for families in border settlements of the Republic of Armenia were discussed.

Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Davit Khachatryan presented details of the program's progress, in particular, on the chronology, activity and status of transactions carried out by settlements. It was reported that as of May 1, 2025, the number of transactions is 2254.

Issues related to the current and future continuity of the program were discussed at the meeting. In particular, the establishment of new criteria for participation in the program, the determination of targets according to these criteria, and the possibility of integrating other groups with housing problems into the program were discussed.

In connection with the above issues, the Prime Minister instructed to conduct a study and submit information on potential beneficiaries who meet the newly established criteria.

During the consultation, Nikol Pashinyan also touched upon the issues raised during his recent working visits to Lori and Tavush regions, giving specific instructions to those responsible.

Speaking about the simultaneous implementation of the construction of educational complexes and the provision of transport services, Nikol Pashinyan noted, “The improvement of roads is a mandatory condition in the educational complex program. That is, where we have an educational complex, the repair of roads in those places is an absolute priority, synchronizing it with the educational process, as well as coordinating it with the introduction of the transport network,” the Prime Minister added. The Prime Minister also touched upon the importance of road marking, instructed to introduce marking standards and solve the problem.
