The Prime Minister receives newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Armenia, Li Xinwei.
The Prime Minister congratulated the latter on assuming the post of Ambassador and wished him success in further developing and expanding relations between Armenia and China. Nikol Pashinyan expressed hope that during Li Xinwei's tenure, concrete results will be recorded in bilateral relations.
The Ambassador thanked for the warm hospitality and emphasized that he will make every effort to give a new impetus to bilateral cooperation and develop trade, economic, and cultural ties.
The interlocutors attached importance to the implementation of joint programs in the economy and tourism sectors, including increasing the number of direct flights. Reference was made to the organization of high-level mutual visits and cooperation within international organizations.
The sides exchanged ideas on the Armenian Government's "Crossroads of Peace" project and its principles.
