Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the delegation led by Iranian Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, Brigadier General Aziz Nasirzadeh, who arrived in the Republic of Armenia on an official visit.

The Prime Minister emphasized with satisfaction that Armenia-Iran relations are developing at a high pace, which is based on natural mutual interests. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the political will of the leaderships of the two countries in expanding and deepening cooperation. The Prime Minister attached importance to the full realization of existing opportunities and the implementation of consistent steps in this direction.

Aziz Nasirzadeh conveyed to Prime Minister Pashinyan the warm greetings of Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian and noted that Iran is interested in developing multilateral cooperation with Armenia. The latter once again emphasized Iran’s unconditional support for Armenia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the Armenia-Iran cooperation agenda and ensuring regional security and stability.
