Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the presentation of Juventus Armenian Academies. The legend of the Italian football club Juventus, World and European Champion, current FIFA Ambassador David Trezeguet and Juventus Academy Development Manager Davide Fornaca arrived in Armenia to participate in the event.

During the presentation, the projects of future academies, infrastructures meeting high international standards and a new stadium meeting the second category of UEFA were presented.

By the August 29, 2024 decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the investment program of the “Next Gen Sports” company was approved. Accordingly, a land plot of about two hectares in the Avan administrative district with the right of gratuitous use for a period of 25 years and a condition of investment of 1 billion drams was given to the “Next Gen Sports” company. Another land plot of about two hectares located next to the Hrazdan stadium was alienated to the company at a market price, with a 10-year installment payment and a condition of an investment of 1.2 billion drams over five years. The above-mentioned territories will be used to establish the “Juventus” Armenian academies.
