A meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which the plan for the start of infrastructure works planned for the Academic City was discussed.
Representatives of the Gmp International GmbH Architects and Engineers company, which designed the master plan of the Academic City, presented the planned activities for the physical infrastructure works according to the schedule. In particular, they relate to water supply, gas, electricity, transport and other infrastructures. The design works of railway, bus, passenger car routes, as well as bicycle paths were presented.
The socio-economic component of the Academic City, strategic economic development, and the framework vision of urban development were discussed.
The representatives of Gmp International GmbH Architects and Engineers answered questions of interest to the participants of the consultation and provided clarifications on the organization of the work and upcoming steps.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the strategic importance of the "Academic City" program and attached importance to the effective implementation of the planned work. The Prime Minister instructed to form a working group with the participation of representatives of the responsible departments in order to implement infrastructure works in cooperation with Gmp International GmbH Architects and Engineers.
