A consultation was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which measures aimed at promoting non-cash transactions were discussed.
Analyses aimed at the possibilities of using and expanding non-cash transactions in the economy were presented. Within its framework, it was proposed to introduce a flexible incentive mechanism that provides for a refund to citizens based on non-cash payments made.
During the discussion, the expediency of introducing such a system was emphasized, and its possible positive effects on increasing tax discipline and reducing the shadow economy were emphasized.
The Prime Minister instructed the relevant bodies to develop a technical task for introducing the proposed mechanism in order to clarify further steps and ensure its coordinated implementation.
