The Prime Minister receives newly appointed head of IMF Mission to Armenia

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Alexander Tieman, the newly appointed head of the International Monetary Fund's Mission to Armenia.

The Prime Minister congratulated Mr. Tieman on assuming the position and emphasized the importance of cooperation with the IMF in contributing to the development of the economy and ensuring stability in our country.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the programs implemented in cooperation between Armenia and the IMF and touched upon further steps.

The sides exchanged views on the process of reforms being implemented in the Republic of Armenia, the improvement of the financial sector, the investment climate, the promotion of economic activity, overcoming existing risks, and other issues.
