The Prime Minister observes Army Games competitions

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the combat relay competitions held within the framework of the Army Games in Tavush region. The Army Games are being held for the third year in a row, which started on June 29 and will end on July 6.

The teams of the Defense, Interior, Justice Ministries, National Security Service, State Revenue, Investigative, Anti-Corruption Committees, Prosecutor's Office and State Protection Service participate in the competitions, which also include female servicemen. In total, 19 teams are participating in the games.

The Prime Minister thanked the participants of the competitions for their participation in the Army Games and congratulated all the participants who achieved success. "By holding the Army Games, we want to create additional incentives for servicemen so that they are more focused on their work and have greater motivation to continuously improve their professional level," said Nikol Pashinyan.

The competitions are held in the “orientation” competition format. The referees followed the participants’ actions, assessed their speed and accuracy. As part of the Army Games, competitions in shooting from various weapons, militarized cross-country and relay races were also held.

The participants (men and women) who took 1st, 2nd and 3rd places in the competitions of militarized cross-country running, orienteering, shooting from the “AK 103” rifle, shooting from the “PM” pistol, will be awarded with certificates, medals and cash prizes of the corresponding category: 1st place - 1,000,000 drams, 2nd place - 500,000 drams, 3rd place - 300,000 drams, the team that took 1st place will also receive a cup.

The members of the winning relay team will be awarded medals, certificates and cash prizes: 1st place - 300,000 AMD, 2nd place - 200,000 AMD, 3rd place - 150,000 AMD.

The teams that won prizes will be awarded with certificates of the corresponding category and a cup.
