Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the participants of the 4th “Summer School” program of the National Assembly at the Government.
The Prime Minister welcomed the participants of the program and discussed with them various issues related to the past, present and shaping of the future, during which the young people presented their opinions and observations.
According to Nikol Pashinyan, the future of each of them can be built, starting from school. “And the reforms in the field of general education have this very goal: not to manage your life, but to create the necessary environment where you understand that the future of your life is connected exclusively with every minute you spend at school. That is, the future is today. What do you do at school? The kind of relationships you have with each other is very important, because your relationships predetermine and predict the relationships of society that we should have. "It is very important what kind of relationship you have with your teachers, what kind of relationship your teachers have with you. For example, how much is the culture of truth respected and how much the school helps you choose the profession you love," the Prime Minister noted.
According to the Prime Minister, the first task of the Government is to support students in deciding what they love, because in general it is very important to do everything with love. According to Nikol Pashinyan, if you do something that you do not love and do not believe in, it will not be good for you or for others. “All this is about the fact that the future is today, and now we are talking about the individual level, but this is how you can reach the state level. And anything implemented without a project turns out to be deformed, such is a person’s life, such is a person’s home, such is a state, such is a company, such is a business, absolutely everything,” Nikol Pashinyan noted.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the Government should give children a message in schools that will be understandable to them, so that they can look, read and understand what their Government is telling them, what their state is telling them. “We need to send a very understandable message to our students in schools. And we came to the conclusion that we want to tell students: study well so that you can live well, because studying well guarantees by about 80 percent that you will live well,” the Prime Minister said, adding that the first stage of studying well is to lead the students to decide what they want to do in life, what they love.
Next, Nikol Pashinyan answered the students’ questions, which related to the ideology of Real Armenia, foreign and domestic policy, government reforms in various directions, solving social problems, and other topics.
