Discussions continued on the fiscal and expenditure framework of the 2026-2028 Medium-Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) of the Republic of Armenia under the leadership of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan presented details on the work carried out based on the results of the previous discussion, touched upon the approaches underlying the 2026 state budget draft, as well as the assessment of the limits of current and capital expenditures of state bodies, the progress of reforms implemented in various sectors, etc.

The heads of departments made their suggestions and observations on the implementation of the planned programs and the provision of expenditures.

In conclusion, the Prime Minister instructed to conduct sectoral discussions with the Ministry of Finance in order to finalize the draft.
