The Prime Minister gets acquainted with the project to create a multifunctional recreation zone in the Hrazdan Gorge

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, visited the Hrazdan Gorge, where the project to create a multifunctional recreation zone on an area of 3,480 square meters was presented. It is located in the Arabkir administrative district.

It is planned that within the framework of the project financed by the Government of the Republic of Armenia, children's and sports zones, an open-air cinema, landscaping works will be carried out, and unique architectural and landscape solutions will be provided. The head of the Arabkir administrative district, Suren Varosyan, noted that the project is already ready.

According to the project, the retaining walls will also be reconstructed, two waterfalls on the river will be improved, and a bridge leading to the opposite sidewalk will be built. The reconstructed infrastructure will contribute to the restoration of the ecological state of the area.

The goal of the project is to ensure modern and sustainable development, based on the multi-layered heritage of the Hrazdan Gorge.

Next, the Prime Minister visited the open-air sports ground in the Hrazdan Gorge ("Bidzu Gol"), where he got acquainted with the implemented restoration works. The swimming pool was restored, a new locker room was built, and the sports equipment at the sports ground was renovated.

The people training here expressed gratitude for the created conditions and noted that the number of people visiting the sports ground has increased dramatically recently.
