Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Jean-Charles Samuelian, founder of the French ALAN digital healthcare system, and Noubar Afeyan, co-founder of the Flagship Pioneering company.

The Prime Minister welcomed their visit to Armenia and noted that the Government is gradually approaching the introduction of a health insurance system. Highlighting the importance of comprehensive reforms in the healthcare sector, Nikol Pashinyan expressed confidence that the introduction of the insurance system will be of key importance for both the sector and the public.

Jean-Charles Samuelian presented the activities, opportunities and advantages of the ALAN digital healthcare system, which are aimed at digitizing the sector, facilitating and improving the services provided.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of the full digitization of the healthcare sector and increasing the efficiency of services.

In this context, the interlocutors discussed issues related to the possibilities of further cooperation. The Prime Minister proposed to continue the dialogue with the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia in order to clarify the ways of partnership.
