Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to Armenia, Alexandra Pamela Cole.

The Prime Minister congratulated the Ambassador on assuming the post and wished her success in the consistent development of relations between Armenia and the United Kingdom.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to the promotion of trade and economic ties, the promotion of democratic reforms being implemented in our country, as well as the deepening of cooperation in other areas. At the same time, the parties attached importance to raising bilateral relations from a strategic dialogue to a strategic partnership.

The sides touched upon the normalization of relations and the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as steps aimed at unblocking regional communication routes.
