Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Christopher Ruddy, Founder and CEO of the American Newsmax media holding.

The Prime Minister welcomed the recent growth of interest of Newsmax towards Armenia and highlighted the initiatives aimed at developing cooperation between the Armenian and American media, emphasizing that this is a new opportunity for deepening mutual understanding and trust between the two countries. During the meeting, it was emphasized that relations between Armenia and the United States are currently at a high level and are based on the common values of democracy, human rights, peace and security.

Christopher Ruddy thanked the Prime Minister for the reception, emphasizing that Newsmax is interested in covering political, economic and regional processes in Armenia. He noted that the media holding attaches importance to the steps taken by the Armenian Government towards peace and stability and is ready for effective cooperation in the information sector.

The interlocutors also touched upon the possibilities of cooperation in expanding Armenia's presence in the international information environment, increasing the effectiveness of state communication, and combating disinformation.
