During his visit to the village of Khachik in Vayots Dzor region, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan observed the construction of houses under the 16 million AMD program in border settlements. The Prime Minister visited several houses currently under construction, talked to residents, and inquired about the construction work. Residents expressed satisfaction with the above-mentioned government program and thanked the Prime Minister for such an important initiative. It was reported that about 40 houses are currently being built in Khachik under the program.

The Prime Minister also inspected the Noravank-Khachik road section. It is currently a dirt road. The possibility of asphalting the road was discussed on site. Nikol Pashinyan noted that it may also be important in terms of promoting tourism and noted that he will instruct the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure to overhaul the road.
