Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with the participants of the final round of the “Prime Minister’s Cup” school swimming tournament in Tsaghkadzor.

The Prime Minister welcomed the participants and congratulated them on the opportunity to participate in the final round. Nikol Pashinyan attached importance to the holding of the tournament aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among school-age children, in this particular case, the popularization of swimming.

During the meeting, issues related to programs aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle among the public, in particular, the organization and improvement of tournaments, were also discussed. The participants shared their impressions, presented their training process and conditions. The students also performed creative performances.

The final round, in which 128 schoolchildren will participate, will be held in the swimming pool of the Tsaghkadzor main sports complex. The teams from the regions of the Republic of Armenia and the city of Yerevan will compete in the final round. It will be held in 2 age groups: grades 3-6 and grades 7-12. The tournament is organized and held by a committee established by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, in cooperation with the "Armenian Swimming Federation" sports non-governmental organization.
