Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited Yerevan Ambulance Service, where technical equipment modernization programs have been implemented.

Accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan and Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan, the Prime Minister toured the Ambulance Service and got acquainted with the investments and reforms implemented.

It was noted that the ambulance car park has been replenished with 7 new modern and super-equipped ambulances, 6 of which are linear vehicles and 1 is a resuscitation vehicle. The new vehicles are equipped with modern medical equipment and enable emergency medical personnel to respond more quickly and effectively to emergency situations, improving the quality of services provided to the population. It was emphasized that in 2026 it is planned to purchase another 7-10 vehicles in order to gradually and completely update the fleet, as well as ensure stable and uninterrupted operation of the service.

During the visit, Nikol Pashinyan was also presented with the activities of the call center. It was noted that work aimed at digitalization has been carried out. In particular, call registration is carried out using tablets, an identification system has been introduced, and electronic registration of patients is being carried out. As part of the modernization of the “1-03” service, the number of missed calls has been reduced to zero thanks to call recording and monitoring. It was emphasized that the system serves calls received not only in Yerevan, but also throughout the Republic of Armenia to the “1-03” number, ensuring their centralized coordination.
