Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation led by Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces, General Anil Chauhan, who is on an official visit to the Republic of Armenia.

The Prime Minister welcomed Anil Chauhan’s visit to Armenia and expressed confidence that it will give a new impetus to the continuous development of relations between Armenia and India. Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the fact of centuries-old historical warm relations between the two countries and noted that today there is still an active dialogue in various directions.

The Chief of Defence Staff of the Indian Armed Forces expressed gratitude for the warm hospitality and added that they had productive discussions with their Armenian counterparts to promote further cooperation.

The interlocutors touched upon issues related to further cooperation in the field of defence and security.
