Nikol Pashinyan, Inga Ruginienė discuss prospects for further development of Armenia-Lithuania relations

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Lithuanian Prime Minister Inga Ruginienė and her delegation.

The Prime Minister welcomed Inga Ruginienė's visit to Armenia and thanked her for accepting the invitation to participate in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community. The Prime Minister noted that holding the EPC Summit is a historic event for Armenia and thanked her for supporting Armenia’s candidacy. Nikol Pashinyan also emphasized the importance of supporting the development of relations between Armenia and the European Union.

Inga Ruginienė thanked for the warm hospitality. The Lithuanian Prime Minister emphasized the importance of Armenia moving along a democratic path, which also contributes to the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries.

The interlocutors discussed a number of issues aimed at deepening bilateral relations between Armenia and Lithuania and raising cooperation to a new level.

Topics related to Armenia-European Union cooperation were discussed, including the advancement of democratic reforms and the expansion of economic cooperation.
