Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Meridian Expo Center to get acquainted with the preparations for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17), which will be held in Armenia in October this year.

Minister of Environment Hambardzum Matevosyan presented the Prime Minister with the construction works being carried out at the center, the conditions being created, and the technical capabilities.

Nikol Pashinyan was briefed on the work to ensure the accessibility and adequacy of infrastructure and services, as well as the formation of the infrastructure necessary for the conference.

The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of organizing and holding COP17 at a high level and gave relevant instructions on a number of issues.
