Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of the reconstructed Hakob Kojoyan Educational Complex in Yerevan. Preserving the former historical and cultural appearance of the educational complex, three school buildings were reconstructed and one new building was built within the framework of the “300 Schools, 500 Kindergartens” program.
The Government allocated more than 2 billion drams for construction work. The educational complex has also been equipped with laboratories, computer equipment and devices that meet modern requirements. In order to effectively organize the educational process at the vocational school, the institution has been furnished with the necessary property, including easels for studios, shelves for fine arts, still life tables and lampshades, sculpture machines, design tables, etc. The school, which meets all the requirements of modern education, is designed for 600 students.
Welcoming those present, Nikol Pashinyan congratulated on the opening of the school and reminded that the Civil Contract party’s election program includes a project to build 100 schools of art and sports in the country. The Prime Minister emphasized the addition of a new component each time in school construction programs. “It is very important for us to develop school construction in the Republic of Armenia, because construction has layers, and school construction and kindergarten construction are special directions.”
In this context, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of having playgrounds near schools and noted that they will cooperate with partners from the municipality in this direction. Referring to the work carried out, Nikol Pashinyan noted that the change in quality is very significant and important, which is a matter of principle.
The Prime Minister noted that two years ago they began to address the question of what the aesthetics of Real Armenia should be. "The political strategies of the state are sometimes not only not expressed in art, but also very often have no connection with the reality of the state and law. This is also a problem that we need to think about. Here too, we need to understand that we need time, patience, we need not argument, but debate, to address all these issues."
Expressing gratitude to the teachers who passed the voluntary certification of the school, Nikol Pashinyan emphasized the importance and necessity of improving education. “I had the opportunity to say that no one knows everything, therefore, everyone needs to learn something new. We must make this a way of life, a way of life for all citizens of the Republic of Armenia, because it is the guarantee of the development of the state,” the Prime MInister said.
Summing up his speech, the Prime Minister once again expressed gratitude to all the people working in Armenia, creating results, paying taxes prescribed by law, issuing cash receipts and demanding cash receipts. “We must understand how all this is created. All this is created through work, taxes formed, collection of state revenues and expenditure of state revenues,” Nikol Pashinyan emphasized and thanked all participants in the school construction program.
