A consultation was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, during which the urban development concept of the "Kond" district was discussed.

Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Yeghiazar Vardanyan noted that the proposed model is based on the combination of preservation of the historical environment of the district, economic development and cultural activation. Accordingly, the planned works will be aimed at preserving monuments, historical heritage, improving engineering and transport infrastructure, increasing economic efficiency, investment attractiveness, activating tourism, etc.

It was emphasized that for the reconstruction of Kond, it is necessary to implement urban development regulations, including changing the operational significance, defining architectural requirements for facades, determining the number of floors and construction criteria, as well as to implement public investments, including the preservation and restoration of monuments, modernization of the street network, organization of engineering infrastructure, street lighting and entrances to the district.

The discussion focused on the application of integrated approaches to rehabilitation and management in the development of the district.

Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that for the successful implementation of the concept, it is necessary to develop a clear action plan, accurately combining urban development, social and economic factors.
