Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan and Chairman of the Urban Development Committee Yeghiazar Vardanyan, got acquainted with the progress of the Kievyan Bridge renovation.

The project managers presented the ongoing works and noted that the restoration of the roadway and pedestrian sections of the bridge, the renewal of the deformation joints and drainage system, waterproofing works are in progress, and the bridge span structures and supports are also being restored. It was also noted that the bridge railings will be updated, and the external lighting wires will be laid underground.

456 million drams have been allocated from the community budget for the implementation of the project. It was reported that the completion of the roadway of the bridge is scheduled for August 29.
