The Prime Minister receives Ambassadors of EU Member States

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the Ambassadors of the European Union Member States accredited to Armenia. The meeting was also attended by the Head of the EU Delegation to the Republic of Armenia, Ambassador Vassilis Maragos.

Ambassador Maragos congratulated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the results of the national parliamentary elections held in Armenia on June 7, 2026. The European Union’s readiness to continue close cooperation with Armenia in support of strengthening democratic values, stability and development was emphasized.

Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked the European Union and its Member States for their assessments and congratulations on the elections. The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of the European Union’s support for Armenia’s democratic processes and the advancement of the reform agenda.

During the meeting, issues related to the Armenia-EU cooperation agenda were discussed. The sides exchanged views on the reform agenda, strengthening the rule of law, economic cooperation, infrastructure development, energy resilience, as well as the regional stability and peace agenda.

Steps aimed at further deepening the Armenia-EU partnership were discussed. The continuation of high-level political dialogue and the expansion of cooperation in all areas of mutual interest were emphasized.
