And now I am going to sign the Government’s resignation in accordance with Article 158 of the Constitution, which is addressed to the President of the Republic. The letter is as follows: “Dear Mr. President, based on Article 158 of the Constitution, I ask you to accept the Government’s resignation.”

Today, now this letter will be sent to the President of the Republic and the President, in accordance with the Constitution, will accept the Government’s resignation.

I should also say that under these conditions, until the formation of a new Cabinet, the Cabinet members continue to fulfill their duties. And then Article 149 of the Constitution states that the President of the Republic shall immediately appoint the Prime Minister, after the term of office of the newly elected National Assembly begins, from the candidate nominated by the parliamentary majority. Today, the parliamentary majority will present the candidate for Prime Minister to the President of the Republic and, accordingly, the appointment will take place in accordance with Article 149 of the Constitution.

I wish you all a good day and I love you all.
