A telephone conversation between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took place.

The President of Kazakhstan congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on his reappointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and wished him success for the benefit of Armenia and the Armenian people.

Prime Minister Pashinyan thanked President Tokayev for the congratulations, as well as for awarding him with the highest state award during his official visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, emphasizing the importance of the consistent development of Armenia-Kazakhstan relations.

At the same time, the Prime Minister wished President Tokayev success in the Kurultai elections to be held on August 23, emphasizing the strategic importance and consistency of the domestic and foreign policies he is pursuing.

The Prime Minister invited Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to visit Armenia. The President of Kazakhstan accepted the invitation.

The interlocutors also discussed a number of issues related to the agenda of Armenia-Kazakhstan relations, as well as touched upon the prospects for further development of cooperation.
