Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation with the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedow.

The interlocutors discussed the further development of Armenia-Turkmenistan relations and issues related to the bilateral agenda. The importance of expanding trade and economic ties and taking consistent steps in this direction was emphasized.

Nikol Pashinyan touched upon the holding of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the Convention on Biological Diversity (COP17) in Armenia in October of this year and invited Serdar Berdimuhamedow to Armenia to participate in the Leaders' Summit within the framework of COP 17.

The President of Turkmenistan gladly accepted the invitation.
