The Prime Minister receives representatives of the “Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia”

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received representatives of the “Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia” NGO at the Government.
Chairman of the Board Alexander Shaghikyan first presented details on the activities of the “Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia”. In particular, it was noted that the club is a professional platform for graduates operating in Armenia and unites individuals who received education at Oxford University, representing the fields of business, finance, technology, public policy and professional services.
The Prime Minister was presented with initiatives related to the formation of a global network of Armenian graduates of the world’s 50 leading universities and the use of their potential, the formation of a fund to support talented youth, and the organization of the “Armenia-United Kingdom Business Forum” planned for October in Yerevan.
Nikol Pashinyan welcomed the work aimed at forming a global network of Armenian graduates of the world's 50 leading universities and involving their potential in various fields and emphasized that combining this initiative with the Government's plan to invite the graduates of the world's best 200 universities to the state system will further contribute to the realization of the key goals of the program. In this context, the Prime Minister emphasized the importance of involving high-level specialists in the state administration system and consistent implementation of works in that direction.
The Prime Minister also welcomed the initiative of creating a support fund for talented young people and in this regard emphasized the systemic solutions aimed at revealing the potential of gifted youth and young people starting from elementary school, and providing them with high-quality education.
In terms of organizing the “Armenia-United Kingdom Business Forum”, Nikol Pashinyan considered it necessary to have effective cooperation with relevant departments, noting that such events can contribute to the diversification of economic cooperation and the expansion and development of business ties.
An agreement was reached to continue cooperation between the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the “Oxford Alumni Business Club of Armenia” NGO for the effective implementation of the above-mentioned initiatives.
