Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Alexander Tieman, Head of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) Mission to Armenia.

The Prime Minister highlighted the close cooperation established between the Government of Armenia and the IMF, as well as the joint programs being implemented in the country. In this regard, Nikol Pashinyan added that the programs carried out with the IMF contribute to the effective implementation of the Government's reform agenda.

Alexander Tieman emphasized the effectiveness of the cooperation with the Government of Armenia and noted that the IMF is also committed to consistently advancing the joint agenda.

The interlocutors discussed issues related to ongoing cooperation and future programs. Attention was also paid to macroeconomic developments and the main directions of fiscal policy. The sides also exchanged views regarding ongoing processes in the region, including infrastructure projects.
