Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Asif Mahmood, Chair of the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF).

The Prime Minister welcomed Mr. Mahmood’s visit to Armenia and congratulated him on his election as Chair of the USCIRF. Nikol Pashinyan highlighted the importance of Asif Mahmood’s participation in Armenia’s National Prayer Breakfast, noting that the event offers an opportunity to bring together representatives from various countries and religious communities around the ideals of peace, human dignity, and public service. The Prime Minister expressed hope that the connections established during the event will lead to sustained dialogue and practical cooperation.

During the meeting, the interlocutors exchanged views on Armenia's National Prayer Breakfast event, its objectives, and issues of mutual interest.
