Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Head of the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs of the Swiss Confederation, Ignazio Cassis.

The Prime Minister emphasized the consistent development of Armenia-Switzerland relations, highlighting the importance of organizing high-level reciprocal visits. Nikol Pashinyan touched upon developments in the region, adding that for the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the signing and ratification of the peace agreement with Azerbaijan is an absolute priority.

Ignazio Cassis noted that Switzerland also attaches importance to the development of political, economic, and humanitarian ties. The latter welcomed and underscored the importance of establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, expressing hope that a peace agreement will be signed as soon as possible.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views on issues of mutual interest.
