A consultation was held, chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, to discuss issues concerning the involvement of young people in the process of public administration.
Minister of Justice Srbuhi Galyan presented details regarding successful programs implemented by the Ministry, which are aimed at engaging youth in the work of the public administration system, as well as developing volunteering and internship frameworks. In this context, initiatives such as "Become a Volunteer," "Youth Debate," and the "Summer School of Law" were highlighted. Srbuhi Galyan noted that these programs are designed to enhance the role of young people within the state system, uncover their potential, and foster the development of their skills. The necessity of extending the initiatives currently implemented by the Ministry to other government agencies, and establishing them as a systemic practice, was highlighted.
During the meeting, discussions took place regarding opportunities to develop volunteering and internship programs, as well as the creation of effective mechanisms for engaging young people in the public administration sector. In this context, the importance of establishing a stable and well-monitored system—one that would motivate young people to actively participate in the development of their communities and the state—was underscored.
Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized that internship and volunteering programs offer a valuable opportunity for young people to get involved in public administration, and that systemic solutions and regulations are required to further develop these frameworks. In this regard, the Prime Minister issued relevant instructions.
