Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s congratulatory message on the occasion of the International Workers’ Day

01.05.2022

Dear compatriots,

Congratulations on International Workers’ Day.

As a people and state, we have always proved that we can overcome difficulties and challenges through hard and dedicated work. Daily hard work, individual effort and creative approach are the key components that enable us to find solutions, to move forward.

In order to solve the complex problems facing our country and to face serious geopolitical challenges, the tireless work of each of us in political, economic, military, diplomatic, educational, scientific, cultural and all other spheres is of great importance.

We encountered a number of ordeals recently, including the coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 war, which slowed down our progress. And yet, thanks to joint efforts and work, we were able to overcome these crisis situations. This is evidenced by the positive growth in various sectors and economic indicators.

I want to assure you that our government will continue its policy of encouraging work and creativity. We will continue to consistently implement programs to create opportunities for every citizen, to get education, to acquire knowledge and to develop skills. The working citizen should be an example, a guideline for public development, and the government will focus on protecting the rights of the worker.

Dear people,

Despite the difficulties, we must continue to build our dream homeland, with united, energetic and persistent work, which is based on the individual effort and dedication of each of us to his work. The Armenian people have always stood out with diligence and talent, his talant to build and create. We must continue to believe in our strength, and build a modern, developed and exemplary state through our work.

Happy May 1st and Long live creative work!
