Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a letter of condolences to the Prime Minister of North Macedonia Zoran Zaev on the occasion of the accident on the Sofia-Blagoevgrad highway. The message particularly states,

“It was with deep grief that I learnt about the terrible accident that took place on the Sofia-Blagoevgrad highway, claiming numerous innocent lives and injuring many.

At this difficult time, sharing your grief and sorrow, and the grief of the relatives of the victims, the people of North Macedonia, on behalf of the Armenian people and on my personal behalf, I express our sincere condolences and solidarity, wishing you strength and steadfastness and a speedy recovery to the wounded”.
