Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a message of condolences to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Sayyid Ebrahim Raisi following the collapse of a multi-storey building in the province of Khuzestan a few days ago. The message reads as follows,

"Honorable Mr. President,

It was with deep grief that I learned about the death of more than thirty innocent people as a result of the collapse of the Metropol multi-storey building in the city of Abadan, Khuzestan province of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

I extend my deepest condolences to you, the Government and the friendly people of Iran, expressing solidarity and wishing endurance to the families and relatives of the victims."
