Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania Inga Ruginienė on her appointment as Prime Minister. The message reads:

“Your Excellency,

Please accept my warm congratulations on your appointment as Prime Minister of the Republic of Lithuania.

The centuries-old friendship of our peoples, anchored in common values, is a solid foundation for the excellent interstate relations between Armenia and Lithuania. A vivid expression of these relations is the existing high level political dialogue, the developing and diverse cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

On behalf of the Government of Armenia, I express my gratitude to Lithuania for its sincere and effective support for the ongoing comprehensive reforms in our country. I particularly appreciate Lithuania's active and important role in deepening Armenia-European Union cooperation.

I hope that in the near future we will have the opportunity to meet and, through joint efforts, give new impetus to bilateral relations.
