Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Federative Republic of Brazil, Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, on Independence Day. The message reads:

“I warmly congratulate you and the people of the Federative Republic of Brazil on the occasion of Brazil’s national holiday, Independence Day.

I note with satisfaction the development of relations between Armenia and Brazil and the continuous strengthening of friendly ties, based on mutual respect and trust.

Armenia is interested in deepening cooperation in both bilateral and multilateral formats, emphasizing close cooperation within the framework of the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, the Conferences of the Parties to the Framework Convention on Climate Change, as well as the Global Alliance to Combat Hunger and Poverty.

"I take this opportunity to reiterate my invitation to participate in the Leaders' Summit to be held in Yerevan within the framework of the 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity."
