Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan participated in the plenary session on the theme "Industry 360. Production without Borders" held in Yekaterinburg within the framework of the "Innoprom-2026" international industrial exhibition.
The event was also attended by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, the Prime Minister of Belarus Alexander Turchin, the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Olzhas Bektenov, and the Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev.
The prime ministers of the countries first toured the exhibition pavilions and got acquainted with the presented products. Next, the plenary session on the theme "Industry 360. Production without Borders" took place.
In his speech, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, in particular, noted:
"Dear Mikhail Vladimirovich,
Dear Heads of Delegations,
Ladies and Gentlemen,
First of all, I would like to thank the Head of the Government of the Russian Federation for the invitation to participate in the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition, as well as to note the high level of organization of the event.
INNOPROM exhibition has traditionally been a convenient platform for showcasing leading industrial solutions and business opportunities. Structural changes are taking place in the global architecture of industrial development, the role of science, technology, digitalization, artificial intelligence and data analytics is increasing.
I must note with satisfaction that Armenia's industry has been recording steady growth in recent years. In 2025, the growth in industrial output compared to 2024 amounted to 4.7%, and in the first 4 months of the current year - 13% compared to the same period last year. The processing industry has doubled over the past nine years.
The development of microelectronics, biopharmaceuticals and robotics stimulates the demand for fundamental and scientific developments, the modernization of the professional education system and the formation of a qualitatively new labor market.
One of the key directions of the industrial policy of the Republic of Armenia is the formation of knowledge-intensive industries that ensure technological development through process optimization, digitalization, the introduction of artificial intelligence technologies and data analysis.
Such an approach, increasing the investment attractiveness of the sector, will accelerate technology transfer and create conditions for the production of high-value-added products. Our strategy for innovative development is to ensure sustainable growth, taking into account integration with global technological trends, and to occupy a worthy place on the world map of information technologies and high-tech industries.
Large-scale investments of the recent period indicate that the perception of our country as a reliable partner with a long-term strategic vision in the high-tech sector is growing.
Industry is one of the driving forces, including in the Eurasian Economic Union. The launch of the mechanism for financial support for cooperative projects has become an important practical tool for implementing integration goals. This mechanism contributes to increasing the competitiveness of the industry of the member states, creating favorable conditions for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Armenian industrial enterprises are already participating in a number of joint projects with our partners in the Eurasian Economic Union. In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that in the era of rapid development of high technologies and artificial intelligence, the humanitarian aspect should continue to be the main guideline for us.
Technologies are designed not to replace a person, but to free him from everyday monotonous work, thereby opening up new horizons for intellectual and creative activity. Thank you for your attention''.

A meeting between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin took place in Yekaterinburg.
Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin noted in his speech:
“Good day, dear Nikol Vovayevich,
Dear colleagues, friends,
Your visit to Russia is your first foreign trip after the parliamentary elections held on June 7 in Armenia. We expect that the new Government, which will be formed based on the results of the vote and elections, will ensure the development of our relations, the progressive development of Russia-Armenia relations in the spirit of friendship, good neighborliness, mutual respect and consideration of each other’s interests.
Despite the turbulence in the global economy, Russia ranks first among Armenia’s foreign trade partners and investors. Domestic companies are actively working in Armenia’s mining, mechanical engineering, transport infrastructure, energy, including peaceful nuclear energy, as well as the digital economy. It is important that the Government of Armenia continues to create a comfortable regime for the activities of Russian investors and ensure the protection of their rights and legitimate interests.
All issues of cooperation are under the constant supervision of our Intergovernmental Commission, which is headed by Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Logvinovich Overchuk on our side.
Today, together with you, we participated in the largest “INNOPROM” exhibition in Russia, got acquainted with the most modern solutions in the field of industry, mechanical engineering and scientific and technological developments.
I am confident that representatives of the business circles of Armenia and Russia will also find opportunities for joint projects, joint production and establish cooperation. This is especially important to do, taking into account the participation of small and medium-sized enterprises of Armenia and Russia.
We attach importance to cultural and humanitarian cooperation with our Armenian partners. We propose to continue the tradition of holding Days of Culture, exhibitions, festivals, and to strengthen educational and youth events, exhibitions and conferences.
There are also good opportunities for expanding our direct interregional ties. I am ready to discuss with you the entire range of issues of bilateral relations.
Dear Nikol Vovayevich, I give the floor to you.”
Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said:
“Thank you very much, Mikhail Vladimirovich.
First of all, let me once again congratulate you on the successful holding of the INNOPROM exhibition. Thank you for the invitation.
Of course, this meeting is a very good opportunity to discuss the entire agenda of our relations. And after the elections, this is a good opportunity, as they say, to adjust the clocks. Some problematic issues have recently emerged. Of course, I hope that we will discuss and resolve these issues.
Both before the elections and after the elections, we are committed to the further development of our relations with the Russian Federation. And, of course, we are interested in our membership in the Eurasian Economic Union.
And we are interested in the mechanisms provided for by the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union operating in a planned mode. And I think that this is in the interests of the further development of the Eurasian Economic Union. Of course, as I have already said, we are constructively minded to discuss and clarify all issues and all nuances.
And I hope that as a result of today's negotiations we will be able to resolve specific issues. Thank you very much."
