isciplinary and military service-related relations will be clarified

A regular Cabinet meeting took place today, chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

At the suggestion of the Prime Minister, all issues on the agenda of today's Cabinet were adopted by a non-reporting procedure.

The Government approved the package of bills on making amendments and additions to the Disciplinary Code of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia, amendments and additions to the Law on Military Service and the Status of Servicemen and additions to the Code on Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Armenia. The adoption of the bills is conditioned by the need to provide legislative support to the reforms in the defense sector. According to the package of bills, the "Disciplinary Code of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Armenia" and the laws "On Military Service and the Status of Servicemen" specify the disciplinary and military service-related relations, the Code of the Republic of Armenia "On Administrative Offenses" establishes responsibility for wearing the military uniform provided for military personnel by a person who is not in military service and does not have the right to wear a military uniform, liability is established for bodies having military transportation responsibility for failing to keep the vehicles in a technically good and operable condition or avoiding the involvement of vehicles under the established procedure.

The Government made changes and additions to the previously adopted decision conditioned by the adoption of the law on amendments and additions to the Republic of Armenia Law on State Benefits. According to the substantiation, new conditions have been set by the law for exercising the right to care allowance for a child up to two years old.

The Government approved the bill on ratifying the agreement on the establishment of the Eurasian Reinsurance Company signed in Yerevan on October 20, 2022. The agreement was developed in the format of a multilateral international agreement, which regulates the creation and operation of the company, its status, functions, as well as financial support. The purpose of the establishment of the company is to facilitate the mutual trade, investment volumes, the development of economic integration, and the increase of investment attractiveness between EAEU member states.

The Government made a decision to alienate the public building located in Shiraki street, Shengavit, Yerevan city with an area of 715.56 sq. meters and the plot of land with an area of 0.17475 hectares allocated for its use and maintenance through a tender. The building is state-owned and is attached to the State Property Management Committee of the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure. The minimum price for the sale of the property is set at 100 percent of the assessed value: AMD 190,950,000.
