PM Pashinyan chairs session of the Judicial Reforms Monitoring Council took place

Chaired by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the meeting of the Monitoring Council for the implementation of the 2022-2026 strategy of judicial and legal reforms and the resulting action plan was held in the government.

Reporting on the work done after the previous session held in December of last year, Minister of Justice Grigor Minasyan referred to the expansion of reforms in the judicial system, the introduction of a tool for checking the conduct of judges appointed in all instances, the developed legislative packages, the works aimed at improving the conditions of court buildings. Details were presented on the ejustice.am platform, the provision of services through the e-court platform, the modernization of the e-draft platform, and the work of the e-mediator system.

It was reported that the Arbitration and Conciliation Center was founded in May, and an advisory committee composed of international specialists was created.
Reference was made to electoral reforms, transitional justice, Civil Code reforms, and the development of the new Administrative Code.

It was noted that the performance of the first semester under the strategy action plan was 93 percent.

The Prime Minister emphasized the implemented works and the programs expected in the near future and emphasized the need for substantive changes in the judicial and legal sphere aimed at ensuring quality justice.
