Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the opening ceremony of the Second National Youth Forum at the Gabriel Sundukyan National Academic Theater.
The forum, initiated by the Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, will be held on August 5-7. The event is attended by 600 young Diaspora Armenians aged 18-35 from more than 50 countries. They will be joined by 200 participants from Armenia in the course of the forum.
In his speech, the Prime Minister welcomed the participants of the forum and presented them with the ideology of the Real Armenia. The Prime Minister also answered the questions of those present, which related to the theses presented in the speech, Armenia-Diaspora relations, the steps of the Government to overcome the existing challenges, as well as regional issues.
The forum is aimed at discussing key issues of the pan-Armenian youth agenda, expanding networking between the Diaspora and Armenian youth circles, involving the potential of Diaspora youth in the homeland, and increasing the role of youth within the framework of Armenia-Diaspora cooperation.
