Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan met with members of the Public Council on Child Rights Protection under the Human Rights Defender at the Government.

Human Rights Defender Anahit Manasyan presented the activities of the Public Council aimed at identifying and resolving existing problems in the field of child rights protection. In this regard, the Human Rights Defender thanked the Prime Minister for the meeting and expressed confidence that numerous issues of concern to the members of the Council will be discussed, which will also contribute to resolving the problems.

Next, Prime Minister Pashinyan answered the questions of interest to the participants of the meeting. They related to the protection of children's rights, ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities. Reference was also made to the existing problems in the education sector, the progress of the "300 Schools, 500 Kindergartens" program implemented by the Government, the development of tourism, the problem of air pollution, the fight against criminal subculture and crime, state-citizen relations and other topics.

Summing up, Prime Minister Pashinyan noted: "The state-citizen relationship, in my opinion, is as follows: the state should strengthen the person, the person should strengthen the state. The question arises, how should the state strengthen the person? There are three tools for this: the first is education, the second is education, the third is education. In other words, I am convinced that there is only one way to strengthen the person: education." The Prime Minister is convinced that the solution to the many issues raised at today's meeting is again education, and the "300 Schools, 500 Kindergartens" and "Academic City" programs were born from there. "We must solve many of today's problems by building kindergartens and schools. I see the solution to all of our problems today in investing in the education sector," the Prime Minister emphasized.
