The Prime Minister attends groundbreaking ceremony of new sports school named after Malkhas and Roman Amoyans

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the new sports school named after Greco-Roman wrestlers Malkhas and Roman Amoyans in the Alagyaz community of Aragatsotn region.

The sports school is being built under the coordination of the Urban Development Committee. After the presentation of the project, Prime Minister Pashinyan and Malkhas and Roman Amoyans signed a message addressed to the generations, which was placed at the foundation of the sports school.

The Prime Minister congratulated those present on the occasion of the groundbreaking ceremony of the sports school and expressed hope that it will be put into operation within the specified time. Addressing Malkhas and Roman Amoyans, Nikol Pashinyan noted that all this is a tribute of respect from the Republic of Armenia to their sports merits and services.

The building consists of two parts: a hall with seats for about 100 spectators and a two-story service area. The first floor will house the entrance hall, locker rooms, swimming pool, sauna, doctor's and trainer's rooms, bathrooms, and a storage room. The second floor will house a physical training and fitness equipment hall and administrative rooms. The sports school will have a basement where table tennis training can be held. The structure will have ramps and an elevator to ensure accessible movement for people with disabilities. The unfinished kindergarten structure on the site will be dismantled. In addition to the sports school building, a sewage treatment plant and a parking lot will be located
